Brentford to win v Luton

The majority of Luton’s points this season are more than likely going to come from home matches where sides aren’t used to that kind of pitch and stadium which is highlighted by the win against Palace last week and also managing to get a point at home to Liverpool which was a great result for them. They have lost 5 of their 7 away and Brentford are a physical side that are good from set pieces meanwhile Luton are not good at defending them. This should be a home win.

Burnley to win v Sheffield United

Both sides are very similarly matched in terms of points and goals conceded etc however they home advantage should see Burnley through here and we feel this will be their 2nd win this season in a 6 pointer. Whichever manager loses this one has a strong chance of being sacked by Monday morning.

Burnley have already faced Man City, Spurs, Man United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle & Arsenal so they have had a tough run of fixtures since the start of the season.

Sheffield United have lost 5 of their 6 away matches this season, drawing the other. They look absolutely shocking defensively and they have conceded 15 away goals already. With the home crowd likely to push Burnley on here they should be able to scrape a valuable home win and the bookies seem to agree with them being odds on to win.

Newcastle v Man United over 2.5 goals

As we saw midweek, United can score but cannot defend well at all.

8 of United’s last 11 matches have finished with 3+ goals. Newcastle have scored 4 goals in 3 of their last 5 home matches so you’d be expecting them to score a couple potentially in this one but you wouldn’t rule out United scoring either.

West Brom v Leicester both to score

West Brom have scored in 7/9 at home with Leicester scoring in 7/8 away.

Despite Leicester being top of the league they haven’t got the best record away from home defensively and have conceded in 6 of their 8. They conceded in stoppage time against bottom of the league Sheffield Wednesday midweek and could have conceded more in that one.

West Brom have scored in 6 matches in a row and are in fine form, scoring 2+ in 4 of the 6.

Sheffield Wednesday v Blackburn over 2.5 goals

6-3-3-4 are Blackburn’s last 4 match goal tallies.

Away from home: 3-4-3-4-1-7-3 in their last 7. They play a very open style away from home and given that Wednesday are now creating a lot of chances with a high XG under their new manager, they should also get plenty of opportunities.

Blackburn have scored 3+ goals in 4 of their last 6 away matches in the league, bringing in over 2.5 goals on their own without even factoring in opposition goals.

Leeds v Middlesbrough over 2.5 goals

Leeds have won 4 straight home matches in which they have also conceded so they are tending to outscore opponents for wins rather than shutting them out.

Middlesbrough have scored 2+ goals in 4 of their last 5 in all competitions and in those games the goal tallies have been: 4-5-1-6-5 so they’ve had extremely high scoring matches.

Middlesbrough have scored 2+ in 7 straight away and had over 2.5 land in the last 6 in a row as well as having a total of 16 goals in their last 3 away games.

Ipswich v Coventry over 10.5 asian corners

0-10 corners loses, 11 or more wins.

Ipswich rank 2nd in home corners taken with 7.22 meanwhile Coventry top the away charts with 7.89! So two sides who rack up a lot of corners and therefore this should lead to a high corner count.

Plymouth v Stoke over 10.5 asian corners

Same as above, we need 11 or more to win here.

Plymouth take 5.67 corners per home game on average with Stoke taking 4.67 away however Plymouth concede the most corners in the league on average which at home stands at 7.89 and on top of that Stoke conceded 7 per game away from home!

Plymouth home matches average the most corners in the league with 13.56 with Stoke’s away average at 11.67 so plenty of reason to believe there could be a few in this one.
