Wrexham v Gillingham Over 9.5 Asian Corners

0-9 loses, 10 or more wins.

Wrexham have had 5/8 home games and Gillingham 6/8 away featuring 10 or more corners. Wrexham average 7.13 corners taken at home per match with Gillingham taking 5.13 away from home so two sides chipping in with the corners. 10.25 v 10.38 averages.

Southampton v West Brom Over 10 Asian Corners

0-9 loses, exactly 10 voids and 11 or more corners wins.

Southampton take 7.86 corners on average at home with West Brom taking 5.14 away!

Southampton have taken 9 or more corners themselves in 4 of their 7 home matches in the league this season. West Brom have taken 5+ in 5 of their 7 away games so far so it should be two teams who can rack up corner tallies to add to this total.

Sunderland v Birmingham Over 3.5 Cards

Sunderland rank 9th & Birmingham 6th in cards receiving in the Championship this season and the line feels 1 card too low here.

3-2-4-3 are Birmingham’s card totals since Rooney’s appointment. There were 5 & 6 cards in each meeting last season with a red card shown in this fixture as well.

Sunderland have had 2+ cards in 6/7 at home and have seen opponent’s receive 2+ in the same amount.

Sheffield Wednesday Draw No Bet v Millwall

This pick means if Wednesday win the bets wins but if they draw, it just voids this selection off the acca and does not lose, effectively playing it a bit safer.

Wednesday are still bottom but won convincingly in their last home match against Rotherham which was new manager Danny Röhl’s only home game so far. The Owls lost at Bristol City last weekend but were down to 10 men in the first half when Barry Bannan was sent off (this has been overturned since). They matched and even outperformed Bristol City in that match despite being down to 10 and their data metrics since Röhl’s appointment have definitely improved.

In the last home game against Rotherham, Wednesday had 58% possession and 2.67 XG squandering lots of chances.

They now face Millwall who have not won in 5 and they have appointed new manager Joe Edwards this week.

Given that Millwall are out of form this could be a game Wednesday get points from. Millwall do like a draw in matches which is why we’ve played it safer with the draw no bet.

Millwall have not won away at Wednesday in their last 7 trips with Wednesday winning 3.

Cardiff To Win V Norwich

Somehow, David Wagner is still the Norwich manager. The fans are unhappy and last week live on Sky, Norwich got battered by Blackburn 1-3 at home and they were absolutely dreadful. Blackburn were down to 10 men on 54 minutes and Norwich managed a consolation in stoppage time but the players were all over the place and defensively they were a shambles.

Norwich have lost 4 in a row now, conceding 2+ in all 4 and have conceded THREE goals in 3 of the last 4 matches! They’ve lost 8 of their last 10 in all competitions.

Cardiff have won 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 league matches on home soil so it is becoming a bit of a fortress. Only Ipswich & Leicester have won more home matches and they now host a Norwich side who have conceded 18 away goals including a 6-2 defeat to Plymouth and even losing 2-1 to Norwich.

Portsmouth v Charlton Both To Score

Portsmouth have scored in 7/8 home League One games this season. Charlton have conceded in 5 of 6 away so you’d like to think this bet comes down to if Charlton can score or not. They have scored in 7 of their last 8 matches and have only failed to score twice away this season in all competitions. They’ve scored 2+ goals in 5 of the last 8.

The last two meetings here have resulted in both scoring and 3 of the last 4.

Watford Over 6.5 Team Corners

Watford take 7.38 corners per home game on average and Rotherham are a defensive side especially away from home that will try and soak up pressure. They have conceded 6.43 corners in away matches so far on average.

Watford have taken 7+ corners at home in 6 out of 8 games so far and 8+ even in 5 of those.

Southampton recently took 12 corners at home v Rotherham and that was the 2nd time this season The Millers had conceded double figure corner counts away from home.

9-3 was the corner count in this fixture last season.

St. Gallen v Winterthur Both To Score & Over 2.5 Goals

This has landed in 5 of 6 St. Gallen home league matches this season with the only one not landing being a 4-0 home win.

Winterthur’s last 11 matches have seen BTTS land in ALL of them with 9 seeing this land.

This has also landed in 5 of the last 6 away for Winterthur with all 6 seeing both scoring.

This bet landed a few weeks ago at Winterthur between the sides and the last 2 meetings have seen it come in.
