Newcastle v Arsenal Over 10 Asian Corners
This means if there is 0-9 corners the bet loses. If there are 11 or more it wins and if there is exactly 10 then the selection voids from the accumulator.
6-5-8-5-6 are the total corners taken by Newcastle on home soil in Premier League home matches this season. 4 of those 5 matches saw 11 or more corners taken.
7-6-11-8 are Arsenal’s corner counts in away Premier League matches this season so you can see we’ve got two sides here who take plenty of corners to chip in with the corner count.
The last two meetings in the league between the sides at St. James Park saw 13 & 20 corners in each!
Brighton To Win v Everton
Although Everton have found a bit of form in the last few games and Brighton have struggled to get wins, we still fancy Brighton to get the job done at Goodison Park.
Everton will have to attack them being at home which could play into Brighton’s hands nicely with their style of football and any space on the break can be exploited as they have the more creative players.
They have lost their last 2 league away games but they were against Man City & also Aston Villa who have been formidable at home this season.
They destroyed Man Utd 1-3 and Wolves 1-4 away from home prior to that and they thumped Everton 1-4 in this fixture last season and 2-3 the season before.
Wolves To Win v Sheffield United
Sheffield United this season have been absolutely awful. They have a lot of injuries which isn’t helping their situation at the minute and Wolves look to be full of confidence.
Sheffield United have drawn 1 game all season and lost every other match including losing on penalties to Lincoln at home in the cup. They have conceded 2+ goals in 9 straight league matches which highlights how bad they are defensively.
In the last 4 matches Wolves have beaten treble winners Manchester City, drawn with an Aston Villa side flying this season, beat Bournemouth away in O’ Neil’s return to his former club & last time out they held Newcastle to a 2-2 draw. They should have enough to get past Sheffield United here.
Ipswich To Win v Birmingham
Birmingham were flying under Eustace but the owners decided to sack him and bring in Wayne Rooney. The fans are not happy with the decision and there are signs of unrest from them aimed at Rooney already.
The players have obviously struggled to adapt to the big change having gone from winning back to back games to losing 3 in a row under Rooney scoring just 1 goal.
Ipswich are NINE points clear of 3rd placed Leeds United and have a game in hand. They are absolutely flying and only a record breaking start from Leicester is stopping them from being top of the league. They’ve won 4 in a row and scored 3+ in 3 of those. They have won 5 and drawn 1 of their 6 league away games so there is every reason to believe they can take 3 points in this fixture.
Watford Draw No Bet v Huddersfield
Draw no bet means exactly what it says. If the match is a draw, this becomes a no bet and voids from the accumulator and the remaining selections stay live so it does not lose. It’s a safer selection than a team to win which you can do if you think a team could draw or the price is still good enough for draw no bet and not worth risking the outright win. If Watford win it’s a green tick, if it’s a draw it voids and if Huddersfield win the accumulator loses.
Huddersfield have won just 1 of 8 matches and that was against QPR under Gareth Ainsworth who were struggling and have been awful. They have conceded 4 goals in their last 2 matches losing at home 0-4 to Cardiff and 4-1 away to Leeds last weekend.
The fans are unhappy with Darren Moore’s appointment and getting rid of Neil Warnock and the side look poor on the pitch so the pressure is on.
Watford are not exactly flying but they haven’t lost in 4 games and have won 2 of those. They have a better squad than Huddersfield and should have enough quality to not get beaten here against a side shipping goals for fun and low on confidence.
Hoffenheim v Leverkusen Over 2.5 Goals
Easy one to explain here. 8 out of 9 Hoffenheim games and 9/9 Leverkusen games have landed 3+ goals.
At home Hoffenheim have seen all 4 games feature over 2.5 goals with an average of 3.8 goals in matches.
Leverkusen have had an average of 3.3 in away games.
17 goals have been scored in the last 4 meetings between the sides and all of those saw 3+ goals.
Dortmund v Bayern Both To Score & Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides who just have attacking mindsets which usually means this becomes a bit of a shootout and a high scoring affair.
The last 8 straight meetings have now seen this bet land! INCREDIBLY every single one of the 8 matches saw 4+ goals!
6 of the 8 saw each side score 2+ goals in the match!
Dortmund are tight at the back at home this season but they are going to struggle to shut a Bayern side out that have scored in every away game this season including scoring 2+ in each Bundesliga & UCL away match. They’ve bagged 11 in 4 in the league on their travels but have only kept 1 clean sheet which was their first away game of the season so this should be another cracking high scoring match.
